A new beginning

Posted: September 7, 2013 in Uncategorized

Many things happen through out our lives, some good, some bad, or at least it seems that it’s bad.  God views his children equally and loves them  equally, thus He works all things for our good. We may be going through trials and it may seem like the darkest time in our lives, however storms come and go, just like on the lake of Galalie when the storm came and tossed their boat to and fro the disciples panicked waking Jesus saying master master we are going to die, Jesus got up and said ” oh ye of little faith” . We often do the same with things that go on  in our lives and do not put on the whole armor of God thus we are hit by satan’s  fiery darts and we do not often act accordingly due to clouded thoughts set forth by the devil, thus causing confusion, deception and abnormal thinking.

God came bring us out of this through grace and mercy He loving places his big hands down into our lives easing the pain, clearing the thoughts, through His divine word, the Holy Bible. As we learn to apply the principles set forth in the divinely written pages of the bible, we begin to see his love and authority instilled into our spirit thus manifesting in the natural and we learn to use what we were born with and that is our divine authority to fight satan, recognize the deceptions and deal with them spiritually and in the natural, thus giving us a new beginning.

I thank the Lord for new beginnings and lessons learned throughout life and for His grace to deal with what ever may come our way.

As always remember God is good, keep your feet on the pegs and the rubber side down.

Well let’s look to see what depression is. ( beware i am new to this subject so if any errors are found please correct me in a positive manner) Depression is an illness that affects a lot of people how man ? I truly do not really know numbers however I do know it does affect a lot of people in many different ways.

There are 9 references to depression in the bible according to Bibblos and here are the references.

2 Corinthians 2:4, Leviticus 26:16, Proverbs 17:22, Proverbs 15:13, Job 30:16, Isaiah 54:6, Isaiah 65:14 and Psalm 143:7.

Now the bible may not say depression out right so let’s look to see indicators of depression utilizing these scriptures listed in the above mentioned.

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

You see how Paul was afflicted with anguish and tears indicating he had so much love in his heart yet while preaching truth had a spirit of depression come upon him symbolized by the word anguish. Afflicted by anguish, this is not a spirit brought on by God but by the enemy to burden who so ever preaches the truth.

Leviticus 26:16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption ( a wasting disease) and the burning ague ( fever) that shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart; and ye shall sow your seed in vein. for your enemies shall eat it.
This in the above mentioned speaks of some of the disease we see today and is punishment for sin such as sexual immorality and blatant disobedience to God, For in the old testament God was basically at war with man before the Crucifixion of Jesus on the cross who bore all of our sins and paid the price for them and we now live in the good graces of God although we do not deserve His grace or mercy they are gifts to us from Him.
:proverbs  17:22 A merry heart doeth good like  a medicine; but a broken spirit  drieth the bones.
This shows that depression can be harmful to the body, spiritually and physically as well. Which tells me Jehovah God does not want this upon any of his children, He many not cast this down himself, He may just lift his hand from you as He did Job to prove a point, get your attention, teach a lesson, mainly to show his glory as He brings you out of a situation. For man should not boast because we have nothing to boast about anyway.
Proverns 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance ; but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
This shows that many people can often get depression over a broken heart whether the loss of a loved one, job, or some other traumatic situation that may come upon them in life. It is up to us on how we deal with these situations that are set in front of us.
Job 30:16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.
Well let’s look at this, Job has suffered great loss about this point in his story, and he has a wife who wants him to curse God, his friends don’t understand why he is staying faithful to a God who has in their eyes caused this great suffering upon Job. However God did not cause this He allowed satan to torment Job without killing him because God knew the out come and knew Job would prove God right in the long run for satan was sure Job would curse God to His face and although Job may have spoke out of turn his heart and faith ultimately did not waiver off course.
Now I do admit there are a few more scriptures I have not mentioned in depth, but we can obviously see that throughout the bible many people suffered from depression, some long term and some short term. We go through things in seasons and some seasons can even be a life time or they can be shorter.
Now that we have seen the quote n quote bad side of depression next time I write we will see how to deal with depression in a Godly manner in accordance with the bible for in the bible there is no situation we face today that has not already been faced and thus the pioneers of the biblical days if you will who went through these situations before we were even a twinkle in our parent’s eyes had dealt with depression and thus made it through, so my philosophy is if they can deal with depression and other matters that affect us today as it did in biblical times and we see how they learned lessons and applied them to their lives there is no reason for us to cower in a corner and say I CAN’T……WHEN IN JESUS’ STRENGTH WE CAN AND WE WILL.
Until next time as always keep your feet on the pegs and the rubber side down.God bless.

Commandment 2

Posted: July 25, 2013 in Uncategorized

Thou shalt not make unto thee any  graven images or any likeness  that is in Heaven above, or that is  in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Now what does this mean? Well look at what went on when Moses was up on mount sioni. It had been a long time since the Israelites had seen him thus they crafted a golden cow. Well in my teachings the golden cow was a symbolic god of sex thus they were having orgies from one end of the desert to the other thus showing that what you worship you become.

We see this today look at how many people will worship a sports star, who gets paid more money than they deserve to play a sport, or a movie star who seems one way on the movie screen but we later read in star magazine or the other garbage tossing tabloids how they are in a treatment center for drug and alcohol abuse, or in jail because of their conduct in public, like Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson. Tom Cruise was heard saying a woman’s menstrual cycle was crap and an excuse for them to act foolish, when that is truly not the case, or Mel Gibson’s out burst that the Holocaust was fake and so on and so forth while in the middle of the road under the influence of alcohol or even Charlie Sheen and his chemical addiction to cocaine and his weird and bizarre behavior including the videos he put out on you tube, These are the so called gods Americans worship on a daily basis, and we wonder why Jehovah God seems so very far away.

We must look deep in scripture and deep within ourselves to see what is most important, One more god I forgot to mention is the music stars, the rappers, rock stars, Black Sabbath has come out with an album and on the cover it says God is dead hmm wouldn’t you like your church playing that one. As far as I am concerned Jehovah God is very much alive and kicking still performing miracles on earth in order to show His glory and not that of these false gods who can do NOTHING of the sort.

We must always seek truth no matter where that may take you, seek and you shall find the truth in the scriptures.

Until next time as always keep your feet on the pegs and the rubber side down and God bless each and everyone.

First off what are the ten commandments? Are they just another bunch of rules that society has to abide by or are they more than that? What do they do, what are they for? these questions will be answered in this series of articles for the next 10 weeks.

Why the ten commandments? The commandments have a sacred divine way we are able to get our country back on track with God and we must do this or we will fall as the Roman Empire did. Our people will be treated as the Jewish people were in WW II and Christianity will be more dangerous to practice than ever before due to the technologies we have today. We are currently being persecuted but it is such small doses that we don’t  hear much about it. The  Cherokee even has ten commandments, although I believe they are different than those given to Moses on mount sioni they still have them. The ten commandments allow us to know what we may be doing wrong, without them well, how do we know we are doing wrong? We wouldn’t so they outline what God expects from his children. Who are God’s children we all are. We were made in the image of God.

I am going to start with the first commandment and each week another commandment will be written about, I hope these posts will help all who reads and maybe  hopefully shared everywhere. This is what I hope for anyway.

1) Thou shalt not have any other gods before me

The Egyptians did this they worshiped many Gods, the cobra was a big god along with many others. Moses was brought up in the beliefs of the Egyptians and still when he ran away out of the land of Egypt after killing an Egyptian military man when he saw this man beating another, he was able to be in tune  with God and hear him when he was called in the middle of the desert by the burning bush. I think God presented himself this way to get the attention of Moses and thus knew that since the bush was not consumed by the fire it would intrigue Moses and his curiosity would cause him to come closer and of course as we all know he did.

You see God wants to speak to us and he does if we are in tune to his voice. We can also see  that Moses saw God’s glory the second time he went up on mount sioni, he asked this time to see God and God replied no one sees my face and lives, but he allowed Moses to see his back side. This is something we are all capable of doing if we allow ourselves to receive word from the Lord.

This can be found in Exodus chapter 20 for reference.

there are also many tools you can get on the ten commandments, check out pastor John Hagee’s series the ten commandments and in depth study on each commandment it is a 10 disc series well worth listening to.

Until next time keep your feet on the pegs and the rubber side down.

God bless.

I know I am supposed to be doing an article series on the ten commandments, however the question has been asked WHAT IS HOPE? Well I think this is an important message, and one that has blessed me since i started the study from Andrew Wommack Ministries, So he gets all the credit of course God has the greater credit. So here we go.

Hope what is it? defined  as follows : a positive imagination, if you see yourself doing something like riding a motorcycle you like or see yourself serving meals to homeless people or something that is in alignment with the will of God it will come to pass and when it does your faith is increased. Faith is controlled or motivated by HOPE, If you have nothing to hope for , faith can not provide any substance to it.

1 corinthians 13:13 and now abideth faith, hope charity( God’s kind of love) these three but the greater is charity,

Luke 21:26 men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming onthe earth; for te powers of Heaven shall be shaken.Men are looking at the carnal things that are going on instead of putting their minds and sights on Heavenly things, thus we have the sicknesses we do and the people are circuming  to the sicknesses of the world. They have no hope thus they commit suicide or get sick and pass before their years. This is where  you should not let your heart be troubled. We need to focus on the word of God and allow him to guide us through our daily lives. Hope that is seen is not hope, hope is seeing something that can’t be seen, through your spiritual eyes or your heart. There are other scriptures to go along with this. If you have any questions feel free to send them to me and I will do my best to answer them.

Jerusalem is an amazing city chosen by God it has over come many many trials and through the promise of God not only just Jerusalem but Israel as a whole has over come more acts of invasion, occupancy and terrorism than America has in the 200 plus years America has existed. Americans think we have it bad, take a closer look and you will see over all we have been blessed that what has happened with Israel has not gone on here in the states. So when you start saying woe is me I have it bad here in America, look at the Israelites and see how they have dealt with their trials and tribulations and learn what they did. I can tell you the main thing they have done is NOT TAKE THEIR EYES OFF OF GOD and His ways.Israel a country of courage, honor, and true testament of divine diffiance  with the help from God.

The country

Posted: May 30, 2013 in Uncategorized

We are seeing a lot of things going haywire in our country, missing kids and even adults, forced into human sex slaves, drug mules, we are seeing our children forced to participate in muslim prayer in school and now high school muslims are allowed to pray in school while christian values are fallen by the waist side to appease the socialist political correctness movement sweeping the nation at an alarming rate. Marriage between same sex people accepted as the heterosexual marriage ( one woman, one man) is demonized by the public media and deemed wrong. These are the trying times for our country and if we allow it to continue it will be the demise of our country. In the following weeks I will show you through the series by John Hagee ministries the ten commandments how turning back to the ten commandments could and would and still can save our country and put it back on the track the Lord intended it to be in the first place and maybe just maybe when we see our forefathers in heaven we can look them in the eye and say we restored the country you built back to the way it was when you founded it based on the Godly principles divinely given to you by God himself. I hope all will join me on the adventure back to the ten commandments.
