Did you ever wonder if the word love is just that a word? In today’s society it seems that way doesn’t it, well there is a definition of the word and it also has levels. in this blog we will explore the word love and levels of love in accordance with the Bible. So sit back and enjoy the adventures of love.

Let’s look at examples of love and see what level of love this is although it may vary from individual to individual the level is always consistent, we love our wife, children, car, motorcycle for bikers, boats dog cat what ever and don’t forget mother. But what kind of love is this?  The Bible says to love thy enemies, love thy neighbor as thy self, when God told us to do this what kind of love did he mean?  This is the question we will answer today in this blog titled  love what is it?

According to our faithful Webster’s dictionary love is defined as this . A powerful emotion felt for another person manifesting  in a deep affection, devotion or sexual desire according to the dictionary is the reason, How ever this is a worldly thought as far as the  reasoning goes so let us see what the Bible says and put some scripture to it in order to see God’s view on love which is the ultimate view.

We will be using the King James version of the Bible.

In John 3 : 16 It states FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOM SO EVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVER LASTING LIFE.  in this verse this is translated as follows, God loved the world that he created that in order to save his people from the judgment of sin he would use his only son as a blood sacrifice if you will to save this world. this kind of love is an un-measurable love for people. It is stated in the Bible no other love is greater than that a man lay his life down for a stranger. I am not sure exactly what verse this is but it is in the Bible and maybe i may have misquoted it but the message is still there.

In the 1%er world a club rule is love and support your brother no matter what. This is something I admittedly have an issue with. Not to get into the politics of the outlaw world he is a scenario, your brother with whom you ride with gets messed up be it dope or alcohol and commits a crime, he goes to jail and you are expected to support him. In my opinion I would not suppirt him because his actions got him into that predicament in the first place and if he had his colors on that brings it down the line involving the whole club not just him.would I send him money for can-tine (the prison store) yeah if he needed it because a man can only take so much bologna, cheese sandwiches or peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches so yeahh i would send him so much per month and it would be up to him to make it last, does this mean I don’t love my brother?NO. it means I am not suportive of his actions I still love him as a person.

The Bible says we are our brother’s keeper meaning we are to be wise enough and love him enough to warn him of the trouble and dangers of his actions however if they ignore the warning then it is on them.

The way it is suposed to work in the biker community if my brother has no bread and I have a loaf of bread then I automatically have half because i gave him an equal share of my bread. That in itself is love and if America could learn this concept then we would be a better nation so in love learn from the Bible and in life look at a biker and see how they help their own put them together and there you have love, and loyalty to one another and that to me is perfect Biblical love.
