God’s will

Posted: April 7, 2012 in Uncategorized

I often find myself wondering my I am in a situation, why did God put me here, what is it he wants me to learn, how is it he wants me to use this to teach other people? We should turn to the Bible when we have these questions and see just exactly what his will is. It is simple God wants us to understand his will for us but finding out what it is ,is kind of like fishing you won’t catch fish if you don’t cast your line or in the disciple’s case net. let us see what the scriptures say about knowing the will of God and the lesson learned in this will be in order to find the will of God we must do the following,

1) ask

2) be still

3)wait

4)listen carefully

these are hard things to learn, they can be learned and applied through time and practice they will soon become habit and then it is natural to you and you will learn how not only to apply it to your life, but you will be able to show and teach others through example. How ever I have found that example will only benefit those who are ready to pay attention and see what is going on in your life through thee works of God. Here are some scriptures,

james1: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given to him.

psalm32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go : I will guide thee with mine eye.

psalm 119:105 thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

these are just two examples of ways to seek out the will of God here is a list of other scriptures.

proverbs 6:22,23

joshua 1:8

isaiah 30:21

psalm48:14

proverbs 16:3

psalm 37:23

psalm 31:3

hopefully these will help in the search for God’s will for you, until next time as always keep the rubber side down and may God richly bless you with , wisdom, prosparity in health, finances and any thing else you may need his word for,
